Foam Pigs
Foam pigs are one of the Pipeline Pigs Types. Usually, they are separated by three densities: low density(1.5- 2lb/Cu.ft), mid-density (5-7lb/Cu.ft), and high density (8- 10lb/Cu.ft). The low-density foam pigs are good at dewatering. Mid-density foam pigs are better at cleaning. While high-density foam pigs have the best cleaning effects among them. According to different needs, the foam pigs can also be added brushes to have a better cleaning effect.

Solid Cast Pigs
Solid cast pigs in the picture own three cups. Cup pigs can only go single direction. The design with one cup in front and two cups in the back helps the pig clean debris and impurities more thoroughly. If you want a better cleaning, four cups can also be customized. Three cups of solid cast pig is more cost-effective than four cups.

Mechanical Cleaning Pigs
Mechanical cleaning pigs are separated into two big categories: cleaning pigs with cups and cleaning pigs with discs. The flexible nature of the cups allows them to conform to the inner contours of the pipeline, ensuring thorough cleaning. They can effectively scrape away deposits like wax, scale, and other debris. Cleaning pigs with discs have a strong scraping action, which is ideal for removing tough deposits and encrustations from the pipeline walls. The discs can flex and adapt to various pipeline diameters and shapes. This flexibility ensures effective cleaning even in pipelines with complex geometries.

Cleaning Balls

Fluoro Rubber Cleaning Pigs
Fluoro rubber pigs are highly resistant to a wide range of chemicals, making them suitable for pipelines transporting aggressive substances. These pigs can operate effectively in a broad temperature range, maintaining their integrity in both high and low-temperature environments. Fluoro rubber is known for its durability, providing a long service life even under harsh conditions.

ABS Pigs
ABS Pigs are also one of the Pipeline Pigs Types. The pigs are made from acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, a material known for its high strength and durability. Before using the ABS Pigs, you should verify that the pressure and temperature conditions are within the operational limits of ABS pigs. Besides, they can be used in a variety of pipeline diameters and are effective in both liquid and gas pipelines.
