Description
The pig signaller is an instrument used in the oil and gas industry. Its function is to detect the passage of pipe cleaning pigs. When the pig passes its location, the pig signaller will give people a response showing the passage of the pipe cleaning pig. Different pig signallers have different ways of cleaning pig passages. For example, a pig signaller with a flag shows the direction of the passage through the flag. They combine with electronic signals and pass through signal display channels. Date and time display pig passages on the screen display channel.
The Flange Connection 20 mm Adjustable Pig Signaller in this photo is intrusive. It connects to the pipe by a flange. You can adjust the depth of the pipe insertion by 20mm. The type of pig signal in the figure combines a manual reset sign and an electronic signal. This trigger type operates bidirectionally. We can also provide a one-way trigger. We customize it according to customer needs.
The intrusive pig installs in the string and physically interacts with the pig as it passes through the string. An intrusive pig can be a mechanical switch, a magnet, or a signal that transmits a signal when the pig contacts it. Intrusive pig signalers may require special fittings in the pipe for their insertion and removal.

Intrusive Type: Popper Type
The popper type intrusive pig signaller uses a mechanical pop-up indicator. It visibly signals the passage of a pig. This type is simple and reliable. Operators can easily reset it after activation.

The manual reset flag type also uses physical interaction. It has a flag that pops up when a pig passes. Operators must manually reset the flag. This type is cost-effective and straightforward.
