Description

Unlike polyurethane pigs, EMT Fluororubber Pig can resist high temperature, and strong corrosion, and has super cleanliness. If your pipe has wax, which is difficult to clean, choose EMT Fluororubber Pig. It can effectively promote the flow of oil and gas in pipelines and improve the cleanness and quality of the pipeline system. Especially in places where the ambient temperature is high or there is a high corrosivity, EMT Fluororubber Pig can effectively improve the service life of the pipeline. The pig in the figure is 2-in Fluororubber pig. We can provide other sizes of pigs according to your different needs.
Fluororubber refers to synthetic polymer elastomers containing fluorine atoms on the carbon atoms of the main or side chains. The introduction of fluorine provides the rubber with excellent heat resistance, oxidation resistance, oil resistance, corrosion resistance, and atmospheric aging resistance. It is widely used in aerospace, aviation, automotive, petroleum, and household appliances, serving as an indispensable material in advanced defense industries. Since 1943, various types have been developed, including polyolefin-based fluororubber, nitroso fluororubber, tetrafluoropropylene rubber, phosphonitrile fluororubber, and perfluoro ether rubber.

Features of Fluororubber Pig
1. High temperature resistance
2. Strong corrosion resistance
3. Super cleanliness

Applications of Fluororubber
Fluororubbers are useful in chemical processes and petroleum refining: Fluororubbers are used in mechanical seals, pumps, reactors, agitators, compressor housings, valves, various instruments, and other equipment. Commonly used as a seat, stem packing, diaphragm, and gasket. In addition to this, the material can also be used in semiconductor manufacturing, the food and pharmaceutical industries, and the aerospace sector. EMT Fluororubber Pig can resist high temperature, and strong corrosion, and has super cleanliness. If your pipe has wax, which is difficult to clean, choose EMT Fluororubber Pig.
Fluororubber Pig Nice Stability
Fluorine rubber has high chemical stability and is the best medium resistance among all elastomers at present. Type 26 fluoro rubber is resistant to petroleum-based oils, diester oils, silyl ether oils, silicone oils, inorganic acids, most organic and inorganic solvents, pharmaceuticals, etc. It is only not resistant to low molecular ketones, ethers, and esters. Besides it is not resistant to amines, ammonia, hydrofluoric acid, chlorosulfonic acid, and phosphoric acid hydraulic oil. The medium properties of type 23 fluorine adhesive are similar to those of type 26, and are more unique. Its resistance to strong oxidizing inorganic acids such as fuming nitric acid and concentrated sulfuric acid is better than that of type 26, and its volume expansion is only 13% to 15% after 27 days of immersion in 98% HNO3 at room temperature.
High-Temperature Resistance
Fluorine rubber matches silicone rubber in high temperature resistance, making it one of the best elastomers available. The 26-41 fluorine glue withstands long-term use at 250°C and short-term exposure at 300°C. The 246 fluorogel offers even better heat resistance than the 26-41 variant. The physical properties of 26-41, after 100 hours of air thermal aging at 300°C, match those of 246 types under the same conditions. And the elongation at break remains around 100%, and the hardness is between 90 and 95 degrees. Therefore type 246 maintains good elasticity after 16 hours of aging in hot air at 350℃. It has a good elasticity after 110 minutes of aging in hot air at 400℃. After 110 minutes of aging in hot air at 400℃, the elongation of the rubber material containing spray carbon black, hot cracking carbon black, or carbon fiber increases by about 1/2 to 1/3, and the strength decreases by about 1/2. Still maintains good elasticity. Type 23-11 fluorine adhesive can be used for a long time at 200 ° C and for a short time at 250 °C.

Aging Resistance
Besides high-temperature resistance, fluorine rubber has excellent weather aging resistance and ozone resistance. Type 23 fluororubber has excellent weather aging resistance and ozone resistance.
Advantages of Fluororubber Pig
Fluororubber pigs offer significant advantages in pipeline maintenance due to their exceptional material properties. They excel in high-temperature environments, matching the heat resistance of silicone rubber, making them ideal for industries where extreme conditions are common. Their superior corrosion resistance ensures durability and longevity, even in pipelines transporting aggressive chemicals or hydrocarbons. This resilience reduces the frequency of maintenance and replacement, saving both time and costs.
Additionally, fluororubber pigs provide excellent cleanliness, effectively removing stubborn deposits like wax, ensuring optimal pipeline flow and efficiency. Their ability to maintain performance under harsh conditions makes them a reliable choice for critical applications in the oil and gas, chemical, and petrochemical industries. Furthermore, their flexibility allows them to navigate complex pipeline systems, including bends and valves, with ease. Overall, fluororubber pigs provide a cost-effective and efficient solution for maintaining pipeline integrity and performance in challenging environments.
